How It Works

  • 1. Share Your Vision

    Provide detailed descriptions of your ideas. If you need inspiration, feel free to send examples or pinboards.

  • 2. Payment

    Once we agree on the vision, I’ll provide a final price. Full payment is required to begin your project. Shipping costs will be calculated after the order is finalized.

  • 3. Creative Collaboration

    Before I bring your idea to life, I'll send you a sketch for approval. This is your chance to provide feedback and request adjustments.

  • 4. Your personal artwork at home!

    Once the final sketch is approved, I’ll move forward with the final piece. Depending on the piece, it should be ready to ship in 7-14 working days.

What's the added value of a custom art piece?

What size will the work be?

Each piece is created on premium Arches cold press watercolor paper, ensuring exceptional quality. Standard sizes are 28x21 cm or 8.5x11 inches. For larger pieces, email me at alexiaveldhuisen@gmail.com with the subject "High End Commission" to discuss pricing.

Can I add a detailed background to my commissioned artwork?

Absolutely! For an additional fee starting at €75, I can create a detailed background that adds depth and context to your commissioned piece. This enhancement transforms your artwork into a fully immersive scene, perfect for showcasing your favorite characters in their element.

Can I commission a piece with multiple characters?

Yes, you can! For an additional €90 per character, I can create a piece featuring multiple characters. This allows for dynamic interactions and complex scenes, perfect for depicting your favorite group of heroes.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs will be calculated after the order is finalized and will depend on the size of your artwork and your location. Payments are securely processed through PayPal.

Are there any content restrictions I should be aware of?

I do not create artwork that is racist, homophobic, or offensive. I avoid body horror and explicit NSFW content.

Moderate NSFW themes are acceptable, but I reserve the right to decline any request that makes me uncomfortable.

Can I ask for changes to the art?

Certainly! I will always send you a sketch before moving to the final piece. This is when you can give me feedback and ask for adjustments. After I send you the adjustments and they are approved, further adjustments cannot be made.

Please remember that changes are hard to make on an inked piece, but if they really need to happen, I will have to charge an additional fee. My goal is to prevent this by being clear on your commission and showing you every step leading up to the final piece.
